Commander of the Year Award

This award is presented to a Squadron Commander who has shown outstanding leadership and possesses attributes beneficial to District 26 and USPS. The District Commander chooses the recipient, with assistance from the District Bridge.

Charles F. Chapman Award for Excellence in Teaching

Each year the Educational Department conducts an extensive search through every squadron and district to identify and recognize five of the very best instructors. This search and recognition program leads to recognition of these teachers at the USPS Annual Meeting.

Prince Henry the Navigator Award

This award is given to the District 26 Squadron demonstrating the greatest improvement during the past year in Advanced Grades (AP, JN and N) versus the potential for improvement at the beginning of the year.

Wolf-Ewing Educational Achievement Award


This award is given to the District 26 Squadron with the highest point ratio of the sum of members passing courses and achieving educational proficiency during the year plus members with full educational achievement, divided by the number of members as of 31 March of the year of the award.

Spark Plug Award

Recipients of the D/26 Spark Plug Award are nominated by D/26 squadrons and selected by the district commander. Nominees are new members (less than two years) who have contributed the most in time and effort to the USPS
